Sorry for the short notice but the Lieutenant Governor’s Ball is this Saturday! Read on for more information.
What? LTG Ball – A dance hosted by the Lieutenant Governors of our area as a way to say good bye to their terms and a good year of service, and as a way to welcome the new Lieutenant Governors and a new year of service.
Where? Camden Community Center (3369 Union Avenue – San Jose, CA 95124)
When? Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. (THIS Saturday)
Dress Code? Semi-formal
Price? $10 per ticket (pay at the door)
If you are interested in attending, please send me an email letting me know, or just go there the day of the dance.

3.22.10 Meeting Recap
Hello Key Clubbers!
For those of you that missed today’s meeting, here is what we talked about.
1) 2010-2011 APPOINTED BOARD
Congratulations to Anna de Groot and Sophie Mou for being selected as our project chairs and to Dahsom Park and Ali Albanese for being selected as our Public Relations Chairs. I wish you all luck during your term!
2) UPCOMING EVENTS
3.26.10 – Cherry Chase Walk-a-Thon: Sign ups are now closed! Thank you to the 12 volunteers who signed up!
3.28.10 – District Convention Prep @ the Sunnyvale Public Safety Building from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come learn about what District Convention is all about, learn Key Club cheers, and make spirit items to be used at District Convention.
4.3.10 – Kiwanis One Day @ Baylands Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Help set up a ropes course and meet people from Fremont Key Club and Circle-K (College level of Key Club). There will be a barbecue lunch! :)
6.26-27.10 – Relay for Life @ Sunnyvale Middle School from 10 a.m. to 10 a.m. Become a part of a team and plan fundraisers to fundraise money for the American Cancer Society.
3) WE WANT YOUR SKILLS TO HELP US WITH HANDS ON THE ARTS!
Every year, Homestead Key Club has a food booth at the Hands on the Arts event to fundraise money for the club. We want all of YOU to help us make this year’s fundraiser a success! If you would like to be a Donations Manager or an Advertising Manager, please send us an email with your name and phone number!
Our next meeting will be on April 5 in room B206/207 at lunch. I hope to see many of you there!
